Cristina Moore, LMHC
Pronouns: She/her/hers
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with expertise in bilingual individual and family therapy. I have nine years of experience providing direct care to clients and an additional three years in a supervisory role as a clinical team lead.
Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse populations, including individuals and families from various cultural backgrounds. I am bilingual in English in Spanish, with Spanish being my native language. This provides me with the ability to provide therapy in multiple languages, and has allowed me to effectively connect with clients who may have limited English proficiency. It is important to ensure that all clients receive the support they need in their preferred language.
In my direct care role, I have worked with clients dealing with a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship problems. I utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, adapting them to meet the unique needs and cultural backgrounds of my clients. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals and families can explore their challenges and work towards positive change.
In my supervisory role as a clinical team lead, I have provided guidance and support to a team of therapists, ensuring the delivery of quality care to clients. I have overseen case management, provided clinical supervision, and conducted staff trainings to enhance the skills and knowledge of my team members. I believe in fostering a collaborative and empowering work environment, where everyone can contribute their expertise and grow professionally.
I am passionate about promoting mental health and well-being within diverse communities. I continuously seek professional development opportunities to stay updated on the latest research and therapeutic techniques. I am dedicated to providing culturally sensitive and effective therapy to help individuals and families thrive.
