Emily Clark, LCSW
Pronouns: She/her/hers
My goal is to create a safe space for my clients to feel heard, understood, and empowered. I have 9 years of experience working in community mental health settings with pre-teens, teenagers, parents, and families. I also have experience collaborating with teachers and school administrators to help aid in meeting a child's needs in the school setting.
I have a passion for helping individuals learn healthy ways to regulate emotions, manage relationship difficulties, and find healing from trauma and difficult life experiences. Along with this, I enjoy assisting parents with finding new ways to navigate parenting challenges. My clinical approach is psychodynamic, strengths based, and person centered. The treatment modalities I use are specific to each person's unique individual needs.
On a personal note, I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Ball State University and my Masters degree in Social Work from IUPUI. I am a nature lover and enjoy hiking, gardening, and being outside as much as I can with my two dogs Banjo and Summer.
