FAQs

  • How do I schedule an appointment?

You can easily schedule an appointment by contacting us, or using the dedicated form.

  • Is therapy confidential?

Yes! Confidentiality is a priority. Your therapist will provide detailed information on the limits of confidentiality in your first session.

  • What can I expect during the first session?

The first session is an opportunity for you to share your concerns and goals. Your therapist will discuss the therapeutic process, confidentiality, and answer any questions you may have.

  • How long is a typical therapy session?

Sessions typically last 50 minutes but this can vary based on individual needs. Your therapist will discuss the optimal duration for your sessions during the initial consultation.

  • Do you take insurance?

We do not take insurance. We are out of network for all other insurances. We understand that by not taking insurance, we can make ourselves inaccessible to some and that is very difficult for us. By not taking insurance, we are also able to spend more time working directly with clients rather than paperwork and billing, allowing us to have the ability to provide the highest standard of care.

Additionally, in order to work with insurance, therapists are required to give you a diagnosis, which would become a permanent part of your medical record and could adversely affect your ability to apply for certain benefits (such as disability if you never need it). Here at Revive, we believe that not everyone needs a formal diagnosis; some people just need to talk and explore.

  • Can I bring up issues related to my family or relationship in individual therapy?

Absolutely! Individual therapy is a space for you to explore any aspect of your life that you wish to discuss, including relationships and family dynamics.

  • Do you offer services for children or adolescents?

Yes, we provide therapeutic services for children, adolescents, and adults. Our therapist have experience working across diverse age groups.

  • What approaches or modalities do your therapists use?

Our therapists use a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. During your initial session, your therapist will discuss which approach aligns with your needs.
